How Often

I typically meet directees every other week initially for the first couple of months to determine what their spiritual needs are and to lay some groundwork. Many Christian spiritual directors will meet with directees on a monthly basis. However, what I have noticed with many directees (but not all) is that as a month passes, they often forget God’s care and direction from the prior month’s appointment and lose spiritual “traction,” so to speak. I prefer to see directees every three weeks once our initial groundwork is established. However, this is something the directee and I can discern together.

I have also found that Zoom or phone appointments are also equally fruitful in offering spiritual direction.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an appointment for any reason, please make sure you do so more than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. If you cancel within 48 hours or don’t show up for your appointment, I will need to charge you the full fee of your appointment.
