Got Soul Care?
Care for your soul with…
In our fast paced culture, most Christians crave to simply pull off the busy highway of life to experience rest for their weary souls. When believers try to do so on their own, they are often left unsatisfied, spiritually disoriented, and still wanting. These online soul care retreats provide expert guidance for the nourishment and recovery of one’s soul.
I don’t know what I would do without these monthly rhythms of soul care. These monthly two hours re-anchor my soul to the presence of God and His gentle care. My load is lightened and I am re-centered on God’s way of simplifying life.
Many Christians attend church and Bible studies, but still feel that something is missing in their spiritual journeys. They read their Bibles and pray, but as the years go by, such practices become dry and often a person feels far from God. A trained spiritual director is often what is needed. A Christian director can discern with the believer as to what the blocks are in their spiritual journey and provide support for renewal and healing in their faith journey.
I experience refreshment and clarity every time I meet with Shelley for spiritual direction and soul care. Shelley has taught me Christian practices that I have never learned before in my Christian journey. Practices such as practicing the presence of God, Lectio Divina, and the Prayer of Examen. All have brought healing to my faith walk.
Did you know that the body stores emotional trauma? There is simply no getting around it. Through a unique Christian protocol, such trauma can easily be tended to and released, even without having to know about or drudge up painful past events. This is a prayerful process that combines Scripture and science.
I felt stuck in my life, knowing I had stored painful emotions and triggers but not know how to be free of them. Through the protocol, I am walking more freely in my present and into my future. I had no idea the weight I was living under was not from God. I have drawn closer to God as well.
